KARATE FOR KIDS

St. Cloud Karate & T'ai Chi Instruction was one of the pioneers of teaching karate specifically to children in a format that they would both enjoy and build life skills from while practicing a classical martial art.

We don't make children break boards. Their bones are forming until they reach the age of 18, and we do not wish to see them damage themselves needlessly.

We don't give out "gold stars", or belts, to satisfy a student's urge for instant gratification. Instead, the students learn to set goals, then do their own work to achieve them. They learn that with continued, effective training, their efforts will be rewarded not only with a stronger, better coordinated body, and a knowledge of how to protect themselves, but also a knowledge of when it's okay to use their skills--and just as importantly--when not to.

Parents often notice an increase in self-confidence and self-discipline in their child, as well as improved manners, better concentration (parents have remarked that their children's grades go up after their child has been training awhile), as well as better communication skills.

If your youngster is at least (7) years old, and you would like to give your child the many benefits of our Karate for Kids program, we invite you to contact us and invest in your child's future today.
